Lucy

Lucy (ewe). Arrived 14 November 2012

Update 24th June 2019:

This morning, held in loving arms and as the winter sunshine warmed her face, Lucy’s 17 years on this Earth came to an end.
Our grand old lady definitely had a wonderful long life but alas her weary old body just couldn’t take any more.

It has been an honor caring for you Lucy, we will miss you.

Rest easy old girl <3

Lucy arrived with Mary (deceased), Jack (deceased), Minty (deceased) JulioFreckles, Kath and Kel.. They came from a lady who had hand-reared all of them, but due to illness needed to surrender her entire flock. They had spent most of their lives together, and Kath continues to hang out with her known family in the greater realm of the entire flock.

Lucy is very shy and elusive and it’s very hard to get a photo of her without her head down, bum up, eating!

Would you like to help us to take care of Lucy?  One off donations and sponsorship gifts are available now to support our work. Thank you for caring about farm animals.
