Arnie (sheep – Dorper). Arrived 16 June 2015
As a tiny lamb, Arnie was saved from a fox attack by a worker at a shearing shed. She hand-reared him for 12 weeks but didn’t have the time to spend on him that she knew he needed and he spent all day alone with only a Rottweiler for companionship… everyone needs to spend time with their own kind, no matter how nice the other species are, so he was surrendered into our care at Happy Hooves Farm Sanctuary.
Arnie and Baart (who had arrived 11 days earlier) instantly became best mates, though Arnie does have to put up with a LOT of head butting; but check out those muscles! He can definitely look after himself – it looks like he works out every day! Arnie has such a sweet nature and gets on with all the other lambs.
Would you like to help us to take care of Arnie? One off donations and sponsorship gifts are available now to support our work. Thank you for caring about farm animals.
