Anton

Anton (pig) Arrived 17th August 2018

Anton did not a have a good start to life. He came to us at about one week old, unable to properly use his hind legs to walk or stand due to a possible spinal injury. We gave him around the clock care and time, but he didn’t show any signs of improvement and we discovered that on top of his existing ailments, he was also blind. Anton was taken to the vets again after a few days and it was determined he was not only unable to walk but he also had severe neurological issues, as well as blindness. The heartbreaking decision to euthanize him was made with the knowledge that he would have a very poor quality of life.
