Ella (sheep). Arrived 30 June 2015
Ella is a Hampshire x Merino who arrived at Happy Hooves Farm Sanctuary with Tonto and Annie (also Hampshire x Merino). She was just three weeks old, and had been abandoned by her mum when very small – this breed of sheep are notoriously skittish and unfortunately mothers can easily be scared away from their lambs. A gorgeous couple drove her and the other two all the way from Lake King (480 km), to the sanctuary to make sure they had a safe and secure home to grow up in.
Ella has one of the sweetest faces we’ve seen and although shy at first, she has a cheeky and playful nature.
