May (lamb) Arrived 14th May 2018
Little May was one of the very few births we’ve had here at Happy Hooves. Her late mother Claudia was part of the ‘Wild Seven‘ who arrived back in December 2017. We were unaware that Claudia was pregnant until one morning we spotted a little white and caramel lamb by her side. Little May was Claudia’s shadow, she rarely left her side.
May is now almost four and half months old. Sadly her mother Claudia recently passed away from a strain of Clostridial that is not vaccinated against here in Australia. Fortunately May had already joined the flock and had the comfort of the other sheep, especially Evie during her time of grieving.
