Cleveland (goat) Arrived 6th March 2019 Just as twins kids Bonnie and Clyde had settled in, we received a call from a local pound. A little goat had come into their care, and they asked if we could give him a home. The next day, we introduced Cleveland to his new friends Bonnie and Clyde, and pair became a trio. We were unable to determine how old Cleveland was when he came into our care, but we guessed he would have been about 3 weeks old. He was quite underweight,…

JT
JT (goat) Arrived 25th October 2018 This handsome little guy was impounded by Perth rangers. No one came forward to claim the young goat, which is so often the case. With nowhere for him to go, they contacted us to see if we had space to accommodate him. We are trying to reduce the animal intake here at the sanctuary, as our funds and resources can only be stretched so far. However we couldn’t leave JT to an uncertain fate, and soon after he arrived at here at his forever…

Bernie
Bernie (goat) Arrived 7th June 2018 Back in June 2018, when we were contacted by rangers about the pigs Lola and Bindi, they also mentioned that they had impounded a goat. We were told he was an old goat, “nothing special”, and he was due to be destroyed as no one had claimed him. As we couldn’t cater to another goat at this time, a dear friend of ours agreed to foster him for us while we searched for a loving home. When we collected Bernie, he was not a…

Laura
Laura (goat) Arrived 7th May 2018 In early May (2018) we were contacted by a Gosnell’s ranger, a female goat had been impounded and no owner had come forward to claim her. Her two weeks were up, and she had no home to return to. Initially we planned to foster Laura while we looked for a forever home for her. But as it so often happens, we fell in love with this sweet girl. After her time was up in isolation, she joined the Happy Hooves Herd which is where…

Zoe
Zoe (goat) Arrived 11th April 2018 A very tiny Zoe was discovered on the side of a road in the countryside by Happy Hooves employee Meg. After surveying the area, Zoe’s mother could not be found. In fact, there were no goats in sight. How this little kid ended up alone on the side of a road is a mystery. Zoe was only days old when she arrived at the sanctuary, and was possibly the smallest little goat we’d seen! Everyone fell in love with her quirky little personality. Initially…
