Maggie: Arrived 2002 UPDATE 3 June 2015 Maggie lived a long life, well loved and cared for, but alas her arthritis, her blindness, her age and a really bad turn one morning in June 2015… well it got us to the point where consideration for her life quality and comfort, along with veterinary advice pointed towards the same sad but necessary conclusion… it was kinder to humanely euthanase her than for her to continue living in constant stress (from her blindness) and pain. Jack (Alpaca): Arrived 14 November 2012 Strikingly handsome Jack arrived with Julio (another alpaca) and sheep Mary (deceased), Minty, Lily lamb, Kath, Kel and Lucy. They all came from a lady who had hand-reared them, but due to illness needed to surrender her entire flock. They had spent most of their lives together. Minty
Minty (ewe). Arrived 14 November 2012 UPDATE: Minty developed mastitis and pneumonia in November 2014 and despite over two weeks of vet visits and medication treating bacterial infection, she sadly passed away suddenly after showing some improvement, on 18 December 2014. RIP Minty. Minty was originally surrendered to us with 5 other sheep – Mary (deceased), Freckles (aka Lily Lamb), Lucy, Kel and Kath) and two alpacas, Jack (deceased) and Julio. Bruce the Gentle Goat
UPDATE: 1/11/14 We are all very sad to report that our lovely boy Bruce has gone over the Rainbow Bridge. Bruce was finding it very hard to urinate, we were manually relieving his bladder for him and he wasn’t getting any better. The vet preformed surgery on him and remove a urethra stone, unfortunately this was only a temporary fix and the same problems returned fairly quickly. Surgery was attempted again but we are sad to say dear Bruce died on the operating table. We will always love you Bruce, you will be forever…

Eddy (Easter Egger rooster): Arrived18 August 2013 UPDATE: Eddy was rushed to vet on 5 November with sour crop and purple comb, Vet ruled out snake bite, said possible spider bite but was unable to positively ascertain what had caused it – sever respiratory distress.
