Camilla (pig) Arrived 23rd of November 2017
Little Camilla was living in suburbia with a some Rottweiler friends. Her owner’s had purchased her from a farmer to raise themselves, and eventually consume. They had not intended to get attached to the little pig, but inevitably they did. They decided that they wanted to find her a nice home, where she could live out her days and so they contacted us.
Camilla had a friend-to-be waiting for her at the sanctuary, little Eloise who had arrived a few days prior. Although the pair didn’t hit it off straight away. We had to slowly introduce them, and supervise their time together as they would fight quite a bit in the beginning. After some time they started to bond and are now inseparable.
Once big enough, Camilla and Eloise graduated to ‘Pig Paradise’ where they currently spend their days together wallowing in the mud and cuddling at night with their new friends Preston, Wilson and Violet.
