Sally (pig) Arrived 26 October 2016
Sally was only three months old when found for sale on a social network site. Someone alerted us to the fact and after speaking to the other sanctuaries, we agreed to take her with the condition that, in line with our rescue policy, no money was to be paid for her. Her awesome rescuers managed to talk the vendor out of $300 and into surrendering her, and she is now safe from harm at her new forever home, Happy Hooves.
She is WAY too small to join the other pigs yet, so will have to stay in a yard on her own for a while, but she gets HEAPS of pats and belly rubs from the humans around here.
