Jade (lamb) Arrived 22nd May 2018 Sweet little Jade was found laying out in a paddock, her mother had abandoned her after she was born. She arrived at the sanctuary only hours old, her umbilical chord attached and still fresh. Having been left alone so young, we were fairly certain that she would not have received the adequate amount of colostrum from her mothers milk, if any at all. Jacko
Jacko (sheep). Arrived 25 March 2016 Beautiful black-faced Suffolk, Jacko might be thanking his stars that he got hit by a car whilst out exploring with his mother in our neighbourhood. The farmer was glad to get rid of him claiming he was a Houdini. He wasn’t badly injured by the hit – just a bit stunned and given the OK by one of our vets. Now he has a safe and loving forever home with us. Sadly his mother couldn’t come too 🙁 Would you like to help…
