Lenny & Larry (roosters) Arrived 13th May 2018 This pair of lucky Andalusian roosters narrowly avoided slaughter after a caring person rescued them. They made the trip into the Perth Hills to their forever home here at the sanctuary. Here they will live the life they deserve, being loved and cared for and enjoying each other’s friendship for (we hope) many years to come. Laura
Laura (goat) Arrived 7th May 2018 In early May (2018) we were contacted by a Gosnell’s ranger, a female goat had been impounded and no owner had come forward to claim her. Her two weeks were up, and she had no home to return to. Initially we planned to foster Laura while we looked for a forever home for her. Zoe
Zoe (goat) Arrived 11th April 2018 A very tiny Zoe was discovered on the side of a road in the countryside by Happy Hooves employee Meg. After surveying the area, Zoe’s mother could not be found. Zoe was only days old when she arrived at the sanctuary, and was possibly the smallest little goat we’d seen! Everyone fell in love with her quirky little personality. Initially…

May

We were unaware that Claudia was pregnant until one morning we spotted a little white and caramel lamb by her side. Little May was Claudia’s shadow, she rarely left her side. May is now almost four and half months old. Sadly her mother Claudia recently passed away…
