Billy. Arrived: 9 February 2016
Found roaming Whiteman Park, Billy was very hot and exhausted when finally caught. He was quite friendly, so the lovely folks from Possum Valley Animal Sanctuary were able to give him a rest in the picnic area where he enjoyed brunch and rehydration before the 44C drive to Happy Hooves Farm Sanctuary where he was drenched and vaccinated.
Billy is an entire goat so we will hold him here for a while whilst he builds immunity after his vaccination to ensure it is safe to surgically castrate him. Once he has been through all of that, we will reassess his situation and formulate a long term plan for him.
He smells disGUSTing (have you ever smelt a billy goat???) and is very rambunctious, but he gives us a lot of laughs; no doubt he will settle down into being a much calmer and less smelly boy once the hormones are dealt with (*snip snip*).
Would you like to help us to take care of Billy? One off donations and sponsorship gifts are available now to support our work. Thank you for caring about farm animals.
