Pogo (goat). Arrived 3 July 2015
Pogo was surrendered by a Perth municipal council; he had been taken from suburban Camillo, impounded, held for the required ten days and “destruction” was imminent :o(
No one claimed him and no one wanted him, so we were happy to give him a safe and secure forever home at Happy Hooves Farm Sanctuary with Rupert, Thurman, Gary, Shaggy, Beau and Jangles, after a visit to the vet for health check, drench and surgical castration – he was found to be in great health.
He does like to head butt the others whilst they are trying to eat, so little surprise that it is taking him a while to make friends… but we’re sure he will settle down and they will all get into the swing of things and welcome Pogo into the fold.
He was named Pogo, because he really likes to jump around like a spring! We’re not sure where he keeps his set of hair rollers, but his coiffure is always immaculate!!
Would you like to help us to take care of Pogo? One off donations and sponsorship gifts are available now to support our work. Thank you for caring about farm animals.
