Felix (duck) Arrived 18th November 2017
We received a phone call in mid-November from someone who had a Muscovy drake, they were worried about their dog possibly attacking the duck. We agreed to give him a home at Happy Hooves, although we weren’t sure how he would get along with Chester, the Muscovy already residing at the sanctuary, as Chester can be a bit of a bully.
Initially Chester did boss Felix around, and even tried to prevent him from accessing the food bowl. But not long after they seemed to settle down, and are often relaxing nearby each other. Felix is very sweet, he allows us to come close and pat him.
