I just created this little baby and it was sooo yum.. I wanted to write it down now before I forget how I made it. A lovely photo will follow later.
- Big handful of baby spinach
- 1 apple
- 1 frozen (or fresh) banana
- 1 teaspoon of Chia Seeds
- 1/2 cup pineapple chunks (fresh is best)
- 1 lemon (skin removed)
- juice of 1 orange and 1 grapefruit (you could use whole fruit – skin removed – if preferred)
- Rice milk to taste
Blend all the solid ingredients (not the liquids – milk, grapefruit and orange juice) in a high powered food processor/blender for 30-50 seconds (until everything is blended thoroughly and no lump remain). Add the juices (if using) and the rice milk (I used about 1/3 cup) and blend again on high for approx 20 seconds.
Makes 1 huge glass or 2 regular glasses (you can add more liquids to spread further)
