**UPDATE**

This lucky little fellow has found a loving home at Possum Valley Animal Sanctuary in the Perth hills. Congratulations Peppi – you have scored a truly wonderful home!

ORIGINAL POST:

Peppi is a billy goat approximately 3 years old – he was picked up by his current owner Michael, who has cared for him for about a year now, but he needs to move interstate and regretfully must find an urgent home for his goat pal.

Here is what Michael says about Peppi.

I found Peppi in the back of a guys trailer tied up by the hooves. I took him to a friends place at first, but he was very skinny and looked weak, so I took him to my parents house where he had more room to run around. I’ve had him for a year almost now and he is a healthy male goat. Very friendly and loves to be brushed which I found very funny. He’s always happy in the mornings and everyday even the dog plays with Peppi. He really deserves a good home because I know if I sell to someone on gumtree they will definitely use him for food. I just want a peaceful & safe life for Peppi.

Peppi will be immunised and castrated before handover to his new family (or arrangements will be made for the castration soon after)… and an adoption fee of $100 applies. Peppi is located in Perth, Western Australia and available for local adoption only.

We hope you can help us to help this lovely goat .. please fill in the Expression of Interest form below if you would like to know more, or offer to adopt.

A huge THANK YOU to Emma from Shutterpaws for the beautiful photos featured below!

PLEASE SHARE THIS POST WITH ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO MAY BE ABLE TO OFFER A WONDERFUL HOME.

Please fill in our EXPRESSION OF INTEREST form if you would like to ask questions or offer to adopt.

* Animal Actionist promotes non breeding of all rescued animals, particularly in the interest of breaking the cycle of unwanted farm animals (most of them males,) that find themselves with little time to find a new home and end up in danger of slaughter. All farm animals adopted via Animal Actionist are intended as family pets, and therefore the same rules that apply for non breeding of cats and dogs, applies to these animals too. If you apply to adopt you thereby agree and are bound to not use this animal for breeding.

All suitable applications are forwarded to the current custodian for consideration, and you will be contacted as soon as possible to discuss your offer further. Please understand that it may take a few days for us to respond to you depending on the amount of applications received, and it is never a case of first come, first served with animal adoptions, as we have to do our best to locate the absolute best homes for the animals. If you have any problems or further queries, please contact Animal Actionist direct via the “contact us” link. Thank you so much for caring for animals.

  1. Damn! If he were in Tas I’d rescue him immediately and he could be friends with my handsome Sanaan wether George who was a rescue of a similar story. I have a large property in south of the State with plenty of forage and browsing for a goat, so if you have any need of Tas rescues of goats, please let me know. I love my rambunctious George but he really could use a friend or two. We’ve moved him to different houses with us three times since we got him – we’re staying put now.

    1. Oh Jaz, your place sounds perfect! What a shame you’re across the ocean. We don’t usually get involved with outside WA rehomes, but by all means – please follow us here in case something comes up. You never know what lies around the corner! 🙂 M
