Arrived July 2012 This is the story of Timmy, straight from the keyboard of the kind man who found him, Clayton: On 13-6-2012, while working in the area, I found Timmy the lamb abandoned in a crop paddock in the remote WA wheatbelt approx 300km East of Perth. The location was 5-10km from the nearest farm holding sheep, so I was told it is likely that Timmy was born on a Livestock truck and fell out or was discarded at parking area along Great Eastern Highway. Kath (ewe): Arrived 14 November 2012 Kath arrived with Mary (deceased), Jack, Julio, Minty, Freckles, Kel and Lucy. They came from a lady who had hand-reared all of them, but due to illness needed to surrender her entire flock. They had spent most of their lives together, and Kath continues to hang out with her known family in the greater realm of the entire flock. Thurman
Thurman (Boer goat – male): Arrived December 2011 Thurman (and brother, Rupert) were found with their two sisters by Mundaring Council and ended up at the Mundaring Shire pound. Their sisters found homes but nobody came to give Thurman and Rupert a home, so a lovely woman who worked at the shire took them to save them from being euthanased and they found their way to us.
