Rose and Bud (lambs). Arrived 16 December 2014

These two lambs were surrendered to us by a lady who originally rescued them from being killed at birth, simply because they were born out of season.  The kind young woman was in Western Australia doing work experience involving animal sciences at a farm, she looked after the little babies until she had to return home to Ireland. She has surrendered the precious gifts that are Rose and Bud to us so we could continue caring for them and raising them in our unique “Happy Hooves Way”.

Little Bud is a bit of a worry to us, he was 6 weeks old when surrendered but he is terribly small for his age.  He is only 2 weeks younger than Rose and as you can see, she is almost twice his size.  He will be put on an increased and optimized nutrition regime and will be monitored closely to ensure that he responds positively to the dietary changes and starts to grow appropriately.

You can follow Rose & Bud’s progress on our Happy Hooves Farm Sanctuary page on Facebook.

Rose, Bud and Tully had all just been sheared – we call this their NUDIE RUN! Must feel SO good!

Bud saying ‘hello’.

Would you like to help us to take care of Rose and Bud?  One off donations and sponsorship gifts are available now to support our work. Thank you for caring about farm animals.

  1. That is good to hear. I wish they would do that to Colin Barnet and his band of misfits wrought after wrought including child molesters, rapist, violent thugs and invasive thieves than the world will be safe from these human ebola viruses in human form as they don’t deserve a second chance because their victims will never ever had a second chance.

Hitler didn’t do a very job did he because had he done so, people like Chris Jones The Claremont rapist along with Justin Strange and his boyfriend Joseph Zappagio of Fremantle City Council Western Australia, Bijiou Whitbread the so call social worket would be dead by now. Let all animals live including the cats. jan.anthonisz@live.com.au. .

We are not as evolved as we like to think we are. May the animals show us the way.
