1/11/14 We are all very sad to report that our lovely boy Bruce has gone over the Rainbow Bridge. Bruce was finding it very hard to urinate, we were manually relieving his bladder for him and he wasn’t getting any better. The vet preformed surgery on him and remove a urethra stone, unfortunately this was only a temporary fix and the same problems returned fairly quickly. Surgery was attempted again but we are sad to say dear Bruce died on the operating table. We will always love you Bruce, you will be forever in our hearts. RIP gentle Bruce.
Sweet Bruce found his safe home at Happy Hooves Farm Sanctuary – he now shares his days with the other rescue goats and has positioned himself as top goat. Bruce is a happy and easy going fellow – we are so happy he found his way out of danger and into loving care.
Meet Bruce, he is very sweet and gentle and is looking for a loving forever home. He loves a scratch behind the ears and adores people company, he gets along with dogs and other animals just fine. Being re homed through no fault of his own, he is a gorgeous loving gentleman. Could this fellow find sanctuary with you?
* As Bruce is not yet castrated, a heavily subsidised adoption fee will apply which will include vet check, immunization and sterilization.
* Animal Actionist promotes non breeding of all rescued animals, particularly in the interest of breaking the cycle of unwanted farm animals (most of them males,) that find themselves with little time to find a new home and end up in danger of slaughter. All farm animals adopted via Animal Actionist are intended as family pets, and therefore the same rules that apply for non breeding of cats and dogs, applies to these animals too. Wherever possible (species specific), de-sexing is required before handover to new homes.
All suitable applications are forwarded to the current custodian for consideration, and you will be contacted as soon as possible to discuss your offer further. Please understand that it may take a few days for us to respond to you depending on the amount of applications received, and it is never a case of first come, first served with animal adoptions, as we have to do our best to locate the absolute best homes for the animals. If you have any problems or further queries, please contact Animal Actionist direct via the “contact us” link. Thank you so much for caring for animals.
Would you like to help us to take care any of the other animals still with us? One off donations and sponsorship gifts are available now to support our work. Thank you for caring about farm animals.
