Michelle has notified us that she has found a new forever home for these boys, we wish them all the best xx

UPDATE 19th May 2014
Michelle found a home for the boys but it fell through!  This is bad news as things are getting desperate now – please share this post with everyone you know who you think could offer a safe forever home.

This call for help is for 3 very loved and tame roosters who need to find a great home that will love them and protect them. Please read on for the full story from Michelle:

I have 3 beautiful bantam roosters that need new forever homes. Its breaking my heart as they are my babies. I had a fox come through and take a lot of my chooks and these babies were given to me as a gift. I raised them and all 3 are boys. Im not allowed to have them and I don’t want to say goodbye, but society is making me. If anyone can help with a good home, id be eternally grateful. They are Henry VIII, Lizzie (before I knew she was a he) and Jet. This pic is of all 3of them. Unfortunately Henry and Lizzie no longer sit on my lap because apparently they are told old for mums lap now.

PLEASE SHARE THIS POST WITH ANYONE YOU KNOW WHO MAY BE ABLE TO OFFER A WONDERFUL HOME TO ANY OF THESE LOVELY BIRDS.

Please fill in our EXPRESSION OF INTEREST form if you would like to offer to adopt any of these little guys.

* Animal Actionist promotes non breeding of all rescued animals, particularly in the interest of breaking the cycle of unwanted farm animals (most of them males,) that find themselves with little time to find a new home and end up in danger of slaughter. All farm animals adopted via Animal Actionist are intended as family pets, and therefore the same rules that apply for non breeding of cats and dogs, applies to these animals too. If you apply to adopt you thereby agree and are bound to not use these birds for breeding.

All suitable applications are forwarded to the current custodian for consideration, and you will be contacted as soon as possible to discuss your offer further. Please understand that it may take a few days for us to respond to you depending on the amount of applications received, and it is never a case of first come, first served with animal adoptions, as we have to do our best to locate the absolute best homes for the animals. If you have any problems or further queries, please contact Animal Actionist direct via the “contact us” link. Thank you so much for caring for animals.
