***UPDATE***

Matilda has been adopted by a wonderful family and everything is going very well during their trial period.  It’s looking pretty certain that she has found her new forever home.  Congratulations Matilda and to your lovely new family – may you have a beautiful and safe future. xxx

A friend of mine recently contacted me about a little pig that needs a home. Her message is below – please help us find someone great to take Matilda on by sharing her story with your friends or filling in the online application form for more info or to offer to adopt.

“Thanks again for helping find Matilda a home 🙂 she is a female, sterilized 8month old ‘mini pig’ who uses her litter tray when in the house! She needs to find a new home as the current owners great Dane isn’t getting along with her.”

Please fill in our EXPRESSION OF INTEREST form if you would like to offer to adopt.

All suitable applications are forwarded to the current custodian for consideration, and you will be contacted as soon as possible to discuss your offer further. Please understand that it may take a few days for us to respond to you depending on the amount of applications received, and it is never a case of first come, first served with animal adoptions, as we have to do our best to locate the absolute best homes for the animals. If you have any problems or further queries, please contact Animal Actionist direct via the “contact us” link. Thank you so much for caring for animals.

Hi Caroline. Yes Matilda can be noisy and if your shire will not allow farm animals we would not be able to let her go there. Have to make sure she is going to a forever home which means we must abide by local council rules. Hope you understand. Thanks so much for caring enough to ask. Xx

  3. Hi my name Jody .. I live in 5 acres in Wellard.
I have dogs, chooks, birds & geese. I have always wanted a mini pig. Between myself and my husband there is someone home 24hrs a day. I would really love to be considered to take Matilda. Please feel free to call me with any questions or if you would like to come and inspect my home. I would want her as an inside pet.
    Kind regards
