***UPDATE***
GOOD NEWS: BOOF HAS A NEW HOME:

Message received:

“Just to let you know that Boofy (now Maurice) was adopted on Saturday by a young couple that I work with.  They just fell in love with him from the photos and apart from being a little shy (it is only a couple of days) he has settled in well.

Regards
Robyn”

This call for help comes from Jandakot Vet Hospital. Please read on for the story of this gorgeous cat, and if you can help, please do let us know or contact them direct.

“This beautiful, boofy boy is looking for a home.
He came to us, trapped off the streets, by a concerned client.
Boof injured his nose trying to escape, and was very scared to begin with.
He certainly appeared to have been fending for himself for a long time, and that perhaps he would not be rehomeable.
We tested him for FIV (Cat Aids), and were pleasantly surprised when the result came back negative.
We gave him a check over, put him on a drip for a few days, then desexed him and removed some broken canine teeth.
Boof has been around for a few weeks now, and has come so far during this time that we wanted to find a special home for him.
He just loves to be held and smooches in to you, adores a scratch around the face and asks for more when you stop…
We can only imagine just how tough he’s done it in the past, but he truly deserves to be spoilt for the rest of his years.
We suspect he is around 7 years old.
His adoption fee, of $120, will also include a vaccination and microchip.
If you can help this boy with the big head and a bigger heart, please call us at
Jandakot Vet Hospital, on 9417 9080, 7 days.”
