Toby’s mum has managed to find a way to keep him – now that’s what I call a HAPPY ENDING! Well done to Dr Roan for the great work she does in helping critters and owners alike.
This call for help comes from Dr Roan Johnson, can everyone please spread the word for cute little Toby?
Toby has been coming to our clinic since he was 8weeks old, and is a gorgeous boy, but needs a special home as he is deaf. He is 7 months old Jack Russell crossed with something bigger (possibly Bully?)and is fully vaccinated, wormed, has had his heartworm injection, and will be sterilised and microchipped this week.
Toby can sit, stay and occasionally shake, he likes to watch tv – as you can see, especially when other dogs are on! He gets on well with other dogs and loves to play. He has learnt hand signals etc but will need someone who is willing to put in the extra effort that a deaf animal needs.
His owner has separated from her ex, and had to move back in with her mother in a rental property. She can’t keep Toby for much longer, but desperately wants to find him the ideal home. He does bark, but only when you are at home and he can see you (attention seeking?), and would be great with kids that can play with him all day.
