Good news! TC’s “mum” has found a way to block the fence and she is currently not escaping. Evidence of harassment has decreased too so hopefully whoever it was has lost interest and will leave her alone. Now TC will have a chance to settle in at her new home and can get back to enjoying her life and family. I’ll keep you posted if the situation changes again but for now.. it’s looking good for this beautiful girl.
TC’s family have moved in to a new home and poor old TC is having a very hard time settling in. She constantly escapes despite the fact that her owner has repaired and remodelled fences several times (at considerable expense). Somehow she keeps busting through and it seems it may be because someone is harassing her when her family is not home as she is often found hiding or missing, and there are rocks and lemons in the yard. TC’s owner works full time and thinks it would be kinder to find someone who can give her a quieter life and who can be with her more. Please read the appeal below from Samantha, and if you think you can help, please give her a call.
“TC” is a 10 year old German Shepherd X Staffy. She is a beautiful girl who is still very much full of energy (nobody believes me when I tell them how old she is). She loves lots of affection but is not good with other dogs (but is okay once she gets to know them!), she is fine with cats but not sure about other smaller animals such a rabbits etc. She has basic obedience (sit, stay, shake) and will come when called.
She would suite someone who doesn’t work full time as she needs company and someone who is willing to take her out for regular walks. She loves playing fetch with a stick or ball. She has been fantastic with my daughter who is 2 years old and with my nieces and nephews. She is sterilized, microchip and has always been well cared for.
This is really hard for me as she has been my best friend for the last 10 years. Please no time wasters. I am giving her away due to financial struggles.
