***UPDATE***

I have great pleasure in being able to announce that Bruiser has FINALLY found a forever home!!!  After a LOT OF HARD WORK by a very dedicated foster carer, Bruiser is much improved and has moved to his new home with the hopes of a bright and happy future.  Special kudos go out to Russ for all your dedication and hard work, and for caring enough to give Bruiser a fair go.  A huge applause goes out to Mel at SAFE Avon Valley too who worked tirelessly in first finding Bruiser a foster home, and then a good adoptive family.  Without these very special people, and people like you who read and share these stories, beautiful dogs like Bruiser would be suffering or dead.  I cannot thank everyone enough for caring so much.  Good luck Bruiser boy – may your days be full of love and happiness from now on! xxx

***UPDATE 19th Jan 2011***
Bruiser is currently safe in foster but is really needing to find someone patient and awesome to adopt him.  Is that you?  Or someone you know?  He’s a beautiful boy who gives out so much love once he knows he can trust you.  Please spread the word for Bruiser.

***UPDATE 22nd Dec 2010***
Oh no!  The foster for this boy didn’t work out so now he is back to being VERY URGENTLY needing a foster or adoption!  Please spread this message far and wide, it would be such a shame if this boy doesn’t find someone to love him… the last thing we want is for him to go back to pound where he may be put down!  Can anyone help him?

**UPDATE 19th Dec**
I have wonderful news regarding this beautiful big woofa.  I have a friend who has decided to foster him and will seriously consider adopting him if he gets along with his other female dog.  We are still interested in hearing from anyone who may want to offer a permanent home to this boy so that we have a backup plan to fall back on if the doggies don’t get along.  I’ll keep you all posted on this one.. so watch this space.  😀

This SUPER URGENT call for help comes from SAFE Avon Valley – this lovely big woofa is in desperate need of a foster or adoption as his time is running out! Please, if you can offer a temporary or permanent home to this big softie… please contact Melissa or Gloria on links below.

Can you help this boy?
He urgently needs a foster carer to get him out of the pound as his time is running out.

This stunner is huge and absolutely orgeous. He was surrendered to the pound as his owners didn’t have secure fencing, so he kept getting out and wandering around town.. as you can imagine he is rather imposing if you don’t like big dogs:)

He appears to be lovely, with basic obedience and a really soppy face that just begs for a cuddle. He has been far too long in the pound and needs a Christmas angel.

He is suitable to be fostered with another female or as an only dog.
If you can help this boy, please give us a call asap.

Medical Notes

Will be desexed, vaccinated and microchipped when he is saved.
