With her big round face a soulful brown eyes, Adelphi steals your heart at first glance. But it isn’t just her good looks that make this little lady so appealing; she is one of the calmest kittens I’ve ever met, and constantly comes across as being much older than she is. Adelphi is truly intelligent and learns quickly. But of course she can still have bursts of kitten silliness, being a particular fan of anything on a string. She gets on extremely well with other kittens, adult cats and is totally tolerant of one silly Beagle! I imagine she would also be quite fine with kids. Adelphi was dumped at a pet shop with her siblings when they were small; it soon became apparent that the kittens were all infested with ringworm due to obviously living in rather poor hygiene at their previous home. They were taken to a vet clinic to be put to sleep but the staff just couldn’t do it, so they made their way to me. It often seems that Adelphi knows how close she came, and treasures every moment she has.

As mentioned above, Adelphi had a pretty nasty case of ringworm when I took her in at the end of September. She has been treated since then and has made a remarkable recovery, now completely free of lesions and no longer contagious. So nothing for you to worry about! Please note that to speed up her recovery, she has been completely shaved several times. So her hair will definitely be a lot longer than what it is now!
Adelphi is located in Western Australia.
