***UPDATE***

Majic and Zoe have been adopted – thanks to Bec @ Staffy & Bully Breed rescue and the APS! 🙂

** UPDATE – 8/11/10 **
All of the dogs in this post have either been rehomed or taken on by Animal Protection Society – except for Majic and Zoe. Majic in particular is in danger as her time is running out so please help to spread the word for her and if you can, please consider offering Majic a home. If you would like to offer to foster Majic, contact Bec Johnson instead of the Pound. Let’s work together to save Majic from euthanasia!!

This message comes from Bec of Staffy and Bully Breed Rescue. These dogs are desperate and are located in Stirling Pound in Perth, Western Australia. Please read their stories below and if you can help, please do so, take a look at little Minnie at bottom of this post, she looks terrified. :'(. We are their last chance – these dogs need a hero, could it be you?

Hi All,

This weeks we have quite a few urgent staffies and american staffies in pounds plus some littlies who are looking for homes. Below are the Stirling dogs all females and requiring homes. Quite a few were put down last week at pounds so we really need people to help spread the word, whether you can adopt, foster care or just forward on this email, every little bit helps. We will send some seperate emails for others needing homes in other pounds.

The City of Stirling Animal Care Facility is located at 15 Natalie Way, Balcatta.

Telephone: 9345 8584

The Facility is open weekdays 2.00pm – 5.30pm and weekends 12.30pm -1.30pm.

Please ring the pound only if your wanting to adopt, if your wanting to foster your welcome to contact us and we can direct you in the right direction as we have loads of different rescues seeking foster carers for different types of dogs at present.

Adoption fee is $170.00 for any of these dogs.

Price includes vaccination, heartworm test and sterilisation for unsterilised dogs. Registration costs are extra.

First up we have Sharee (photo not avail). American Staffy female approx 3 years of age, not great with other dogs but something that can be worked on and of course lovely with people and has basic obedience training. Being youngish, a moderately active family would suit her best. Sharee is one of the more desperate cases as she has been in the pound 3 weeks now and her time is limited.

Next up we have Majic..a female kelpie x staffy/bully type. Shes under 12 months and would suit an active household who has the time to put some training into her. A home with little kids would not be suitable as she is a bit jumpy … but nothing a good run out of the pound and some regular training wouldnt solve. Majic is also quite urgent.

And then we have Zoe…what a sweety! Zoe is a Jack Russell x female approx 8 or 9 years and looking for her retirement and a casual daily walk.

Next we have Esta and Minnie (terrier x and chi x) (no photos). These two girls came in together and Derek the Animal Care Facility Co Cordinator at Stirling would really like to see these two go together as they really love each other. These two would suit a quieter family.

Thankyou all for your help.
