**UPDATE!! 13th July**

I just received an email from Bec with WONDERFUL NEWS!!;

Hi All,

Great news, Hamish and Andy have found a home in the hills with a couple on a large block.
Thanks for everyones support and expecially to Brenda at the Examiner for writing and article on them and Nikki for putting flyers up all over the Hills area. 🙂

Kind Regards,
Bec

I concur with Becs sentiments of appreciation! Most importantly I want to thank everyone on Twitter who shared Hamish & Andys story – it was through the Twitter RT’s that Brenda heard about their plight and offered (so generously) to write an editorial. We couldn’t be happier with the results – congratulations Hamish & Andy!!!

An urgent call for help for these two adorable dogs. Please help them if you can, or share this post with your friends to help spread the word. We only have a week to find them a home.

Hi All,

High Wycombe vets contacted me about these two dogs as owner is going to put them down if homes can not be found. I have manged to get him to hold off a week,

The vet said they are healthy and lovely natured dogs and doesnt want to see them put down.

Please forward to all your contacts for these two dogs as this is urgent.

They will require a home with very high fences and to be inside dogs as they do jump out. But I think in the right circumstances where they are getting the attention they need this wont be a major issue. A home where someone is home the majority of the day would be ideal.

Apparently other dogs can bark and approach them and they have no problems and continue doing what they are doing while walking.

I dont see any staffy in them at all so I would say more of shepherd type x although mixed breed would be most appropriate.

  1. Hi Maree- is there anything more I can do for Hamish and Andy? I work for a local paper- perhaps an editorial of sorts?
